Lately I have been working with an app that deals with csv files so I had to find a way to open and view them in my Ubuntu machine.
There is a real easy way to open csv files in Ubuntu. LibreOffice Calc comes installed by default on Ubuntu machines, so all we have to do is make use of it.
The first thing you have to do is locate the .csv file and with the right click of your mouse click on Open With LibreOffice Calc.
Then you will be presented to the following.
Then make sure Comma is selected in the Separated by like shown below.
Then click on OK and you will be able to open, view and edit your csv file :)
